Dear Gilroy Voter:
It is election season again and I am pleased to let you know that I will be seeking another term on the Gilroy City Council. I do this to be YOUR voice for public safety, fiscal responsibility, sensible development, and a business-friendly regulatory environment.
Gilroy faces a number of serious challenges in the coming years. The statewide homeless problem continues to impact us and serious solutions must be found which are both compassionate as well as smart. Unfettered vagrancy that threatens public safety and health simply cannot be tolerated.
Growth is another issue we are dealing with on the Council. The voters have spoken on this issue and my job as a member of the Council is to ensure that new growth is consistent with the resources and services the city can provide to support it. I have and will continue to oppose giant developments like the 721, Hecker Pass and the 10thStreet project which do more to help developers and their attorneys than the people of Gilroy.
As a member of the Council, I have worked hard to strengthen our public safety agencies, build our new public library and youth center, purchase Gilroy Gardens, encourage the spectacular success of our world-renowned shopping outlets and reopen the Sunrise Fire Station.
Please take a few minutes to review our website to learn more about me and my campaign.
Also, feel free to call me at 408-422-1734 if I can answer any questions you might have.
